The Role
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and global environment, collaborating with various brokers and team members from across the group with a focus on Professional Indemnity Insurance.
In this role, you will build on your existing and/or develop account handling experience and develop deep expertise in Professional Indemnity insurance. You’ll be responsible for following up on new business leads, renewing existing accounts which will involve preparing slips, endorsements, and other documentation. The role will involve being client facing and market facing, and you will handle the process from start to finish.
This position offers the opportunity to deepen your understanding of the insurance process within a dynamic and growing team, providing a strong platform for career progression in the industry.
What you’ll do
* Participate in team meetings as required
* Follow up on cross sell opportunities from colleagues and take up new business opportunities.
* Service the existing renewal book that is assigned to you, along with identifying the client’s needs and requirements and ensuring that cover is relevant.
* Reviews client documentation to ensure that information presented is sufficiently comprehensive/accurate to support the quoting and binding process
* Develops strong relationships with markets, clients and colleagues.
* Produces high quality and compliant documentation
* Takes responsibility for data entry, credit control and chasing subjectivities where required
* Ensures up to date records are maintained at all times on the Company systems and any e-trading platform
Who we’re looking for
* Ideally 1-2 years of experience within insurance in any class of insurance.
* Ability to work well as part of an open and collaborative team
* Organised with attention to detail
* Computer literate skills in basic software (i.e Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word etc.)
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long lasting relationships.
