Social Worker - Citywide Adults Impact Team (CWAIT) Permanent Grade C - £35,412 - £41,771 Working 36.5 hours per week An opportunity has arisen to join the Citywide Adults Impact Team (CWAIT). This role is subject to hybrid working arrangements, with a non-negotiable requirement to be office based for up to two days per week. The postholder(s) will manage an array of a caseloads and support citizens as part of a citywide service. CWAIT is seeking seven qualified Social Workers to, applying a strength-based approach in maximising vulnerable younger Adults, whilst considering the effective use of Adult Social Care resources and provisions. Successful candidates must be qualified. Applications from new or newly qualified Social Workers are welcomed and will be supported through coaching and mentoring from dedicated Senior Practitioners, who provide daily oversight of social work teams. Additional guidance is offered by experienced practitioners, working alongside Senior Practitioners to deliver supervision and support your ongoing professional development. You will be supported to become resilient to manage change in direction for the team to meet the directorates needs, and you will be supported to develop confidence in working independently, and within a multidisciplinary environment, focusing on a MDT approach to maximise positive outcomes for the citizens. As part of your case management responsibilities, you will be supported to develop your skills to complete Care Act assessments, and standard case reviews to an acceptable standard. This role will also include three of the positions aligned to the CWAIT duty service on a permanent basis, inclusive of Monday – Friday 08.45 – 5.15 duty cover with 4.15 finish on Fridays.
