About the Role:
As a Highways Operative/HGV Driver, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing our roads and footpaths while ensuring the safety and accessibility of our streets. You will work closely with a team to complete a variety of tasks, including:
Laying coated and uncoated materials with precision.
Installing and maintaining paving products and street furniture.
Operating a range of small and large plant and equipment.
Conducting vehicle and plant checks as per guidelines.
Completing driver documentation diligently.Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and wear Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
Participate in emergency callouts and winter maintenance on a rota basis.
Attend necessary training sessions to enhance your skills.
