Rossendale School is looking for a full time Chef who can promote healthy eating and provide varied meals that meet the required care standards and contribute to the wellbeing of our Children and Young People. In this role, you will be responsible for the cooking within the school as well as the menu planning, shopping and adhering to set budgets within the school to deliver healthy, varied and nutritious diets for young people and the staff within the school. In addition, be responsible for the ensuring that the kitchen and associated areas are kept to a high standard of hygiene, including food and equipment storage. The hours for this role will be 5am to 1.30pm - Monday to Friday for 40 weeks per year Our school provides education for young people aged from 7 18 years of age. Key stages 3 and 4 are based on the main school site, whilst Key stage 2 and 5 are based at our Campus which is based in the local community. At Key stage 4 and 5 we offer a wide range of GCSE subjects, BTEC Awards, Functional Skills, ASDAN and Entry Level qualifications and A level courses at the sixth form provision. Given the disrupted nature of our pupils education, prior to their admission to Rossendale, we have had some outstanding examination results. The school admits both boys and girls.
