Service Engineer - Fire & Security Systems (Fire alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder)
Location: Winchester
Salary: Competitive base salary + uncapped Engineer commission scheme

Responsibilities
* As a Service Engineer, complete scheduled servicing in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to Trinity’s high-quality standards.
* Work as part of a skilled team of Service Engineers and be supported by our wider support departments to provide high-quality service and customer experience.
* Effectively communicate with customers to ensure a good understanding of system and site status.
* Liaise with service administrators and other internal stakeholders to ensure service commitments are met.
* Work to a planned service and maintenance schedule, respond to emergency call-out requirements, and issue remedial repairs and minor additions to existing installations in line with service administration guidance.
The Systems
* Fire - Gent, Notifier, Advanced, Protec & other open protocol/conventional systems
* CCTV - HikVision, Avigilon, Dahua
* Intruder - Galaxy, Texecom
* Access Control - Paxton, Honeywell, Gallagher
Skills and Knowledge
* Experience in servicing and maintaining fire, security & CCTV systems to relevant British Standards.
* Ability to identify all types of cable associated with fire detection and security systems, and to correctly test and terminate the cable ends in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.
* A logical approach to system fault diagnosis and rectification.
* Outstanding customer service skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
Technical Knowledge
* Understand the basic building services to test cause and effect of fire alarm interfaces.
* Comprehensive understanding of causes and cures of fire, intruder, CCTV and access control problems; able to recommend changes to practices to reduce false alarms and improve systems.
* Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA).
