Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our client in Brecon on a temporary basis for an initial period of 3 months. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality occupational therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalised treatment plans.
* Implement and evaluate therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' independence and quality of life.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
* Provide support and education to patients, families, and caregivers.
Requirements:
* Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and caseloads.
Additional Information:
Ward-based role with access to a pool car as required.
