Job Description:

Overall purpose:

To lead a team in providing support and personal care to people with physical and/or learning difficulties to live independently in their own homes.

To support the Team Leader in delivering a quality service throughout supported living, promoting Diverse Abilities positively, and participating in community events.

*Due to current service demands, we require a FEMALE Lead Support*

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing the service within Diverse Abilities policies, procedures, commissioning, CQC standards, and legal requirements.
* Acting as the main contact for the service in collaboration with the Team Leader.
* Liaising with the Team Leader regarding the individuals supported and staffing.
* Working independently, using initiative, and seeking advice/support when needed.
* Building positive relationships with families, friends, and professionals, representing Diverse Abilities professionally.
* Attending all mandatory team meetings, including training and important communications.


Qualifications and skills:

* Diploma Level 3/4 or equivalent (or willing to work towards this)
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills
* Full UK Manual Driver’s License
* Interpersonal skills, clear communication, person-centered approach
* Proactive, self-managed, and demonstrates initiative
