Read more about the benefits of working at UCLan This is an exciting new opportunity for a veterinary surgeon who is enthusiastic about training the next generation of veterinary surgeons in small mammal, exotic, and wildlife clinical skills, medicine and surgery. Based primarily at our Preston campus as part of the academic team, you will be responsible for delivering teaching and assessment around all aspects of exotics education, including the handling and clinical assessment of a wide variety of non-traditional-companion animals housed within our partner institution, Myerscough University Centre. Further off-campus teaching both at Myerscough and at our clinical associate veterinary practices is also likely as our students progress through their education. You will have: A veterinary degree, A sound knowledge and practical experience of veterinary sciences including small mammal, exotic, and wildlife medicine and clinical skills Higher education teaching qualification or professional (e.g. PGCHE, FHEA or equivalent), or a commitment to complete within one year of appointment A relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent clinical specialisation. £48,350 to £56,021 per annum
