About the role
This role supports the administration of approximately 4 million laying hens each year by managing orders, documentation, vaccines, and accurate data records for both company‑owned rearing and laying farms. It ensures full compliance with regulatory and welfare standards while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and providing general support to the Agriculture Senior Leadership Team.
Key accountabilities
* Operational Administration
o Support administration tasks associated with managing approximately 4 million laying hens annually and supply internal and external customers.
* Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
o Maintain direct liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirements and service standards are consistently met.
o Coordinate vaccine administration for company rearing farms.
* Order processing & Document Control
o Support order processes and issue documentation to stakeholders.
o Complete Laying Hen Passports and distribute to customers.
o Process purchase orders, raise invoices, and manage payments.
* Data & Record Keeping
o Maintain accurate records and prepare master information for internal and external communication.
o Collate and present data to support decision‑making.
o Create Health & Welfare plans and record cards for rearing and laying farms.
* Compliance
o Ensure compliance with Lion Code of Practice, RSPCA Assured, DEFRA and other regulatory standards.
o Support audit readiness by maintaining complete, accurate, and up‑to‑date compliance records.
* General Support
o Perform ad‑hoc tasks as requested by the Agriculture Senior Leadership Team.
o Contribute to continuous improvement across administrative processes, documentation, and data accuracy.
* Shared Accountabilities

About You
