PA to 66-Year-Old Male with Parkinson’s – Flexible, Rewarding Role Supporting Independence
Are you a compassionate, patient, and friendly individual with a good sense of humour and a passion for helping others? We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant (PA) to support a 66‑year‑old former civil servant living with Parkinson’s disease. Diagnosed 14 years ago, he remains active and sociable but experiences challenges with mobility and speech that can vary throughout the day.
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to build a strong rapport while helping maintain independence and quality of life.

This is a flexible part‑time position (8 hours per week), with days and times to be agreed upon. The role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and empathetic, with an understanding of how Parkinson’s can affect daily life.
Key Duties Include:
* Occasional assistance with personal care
* Supporting with daily routines and social activities
* Making telephone calls (e.g. to GP and medication order lines)
* Helping with light domestic tasks (laundry, light shopping)
* Accompanying on outings (e.g. pub lunches, local events)
* Providing companionship and encouraging independence
