Job Title: Installation Supervisor Monday to Friday: 0800 to 1630 (37.5hrs)Cardiff based with frequent travel and extended periods of working abroadSalary: Upon applicationAs Installation Supervisor you will ensure the smooth running of Installations directly from site at a wide-range of locations throughout your career. Under the supervision and leadership of the Installation Manager you will be the designated individual responsible for maintaining the high standards and efficiency of the Wild Creations Installation Team on specific projects. The role requires regular work away from home, often internationally and can be for extended periods of time. We require a highly motivated individual who would be inspired to satisfy the following criteria:Role ResponsibilitiesEnsuring Installations run according to schedule, focusing on deadlines and staff efficienciesOverseeing the unloading and storage of finished items and equipment to siteThe management and organisation of large crews.Ensuring the quality and fine finish of the project, in-line with the project brief.Ensuring structural compliance Liaising with Installation Manager & Project manager to update on site progress; Taking and distributing in-progress photos & videos and site reports. Adhering to quality control & sign-off milestones and distributing documentation ‘Punch Lists’ alongside Project Manager.Keeping notes of fabrication deviations for implementation in “as-built” drawings upon completion of installation,Attending pre-installation meetings with the wider team, offering suggestions and solutions to ensure the smooth running of the Installation.Maintaining a professional and sympathetic approach to the wellbeing of Wild Creations Employees whilst working abroadResponsible for the Health, Safety & Welfare of the Wild Creations Installation Team Assisting the Installation Manager in scheduling and staffing installationsResponsible for the overall efficiency, organisation and safety of the Installation siteOverseeing pre-installation prep; generating pack-lists, overseeing van packs, truck and container loaders. Acting as a single point of contact on site during Installation for the Wild Creations Installation Team, Client representatives and other contractors.Undertaking staff briefings and daily tool-box talks with the Installation Team Working alongside Logistics Coordinator to facilitate travel, transport, visas and accommodation for the Installation TeamEssential SkillsExperience of working abroad with a willingness to travel and stay abroad for extended periods of timeExperience of large scale project installation and capacity to meet deadlines whilst understanding project goals Clear communication skills and ability to relay complex projects to large teams Strong organisational skills relating to staff, crew and external contractors Ability to plan schedules of work and adapt when neededFlexibility in outlook and working practices with an excellent ability to problem solve and adaptGood computer literacy skills and ability to interpret technical drawingsBroad knowledge of construction materials and methodsAbility to implement safe working practices and keep a clean and organised siteCapacity to liaise effectively; reporting installation progress, and any issues arising to the Installation & Project ManagersSensitive approach to client liaison and other contractors on siteFull clean UK driving license with experience of driving cars, vans & small trucks and confidence to drive in other countries.
