The posts require good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be adaptable, reliable and approachable. You will have sound knowledge of recent changes within the NHS and current professional issues. You will be working in a lone capacity under the direction of a Team Leader and in conjunction with other team members, ensuring clinical standards are maintained using evidence based practice. You will be flexible, adaptable and reliable and be able to evidence excellent clinical skills.
We are looking to recruit two part-time Community Nursing Auxiliaries for the West Kirby Community Nursing Team based at Marine Lake Health and Wellbeing Centre. While community experience would be an advantage, we are keen to recruit those with transferable skills who are enthusiastic to develop their career in the community setting.
Responsibilities
* Work predominantly day shifts on a flexible rota, including weekends and Bank Holidays;
* Be able to work shifts across the 24 hour period depending on service needs.
* Maintain clinical standards using evidence-based practice under the direction of the Team Leader and in conjunction with other team members.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Sound knowledge of recent changes within the NHS and current professional issues.
* Ability to demonstrate excellent clinical skills and adaptable, reliable, and approachable working style.
* English language requirement as per Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016; provide evidence in the application of meeting this requirement if not studied in an English-speaking institute or lacking an English qualification.
* Evidence of ability to provide referees who can verify employment/education history over the last three years with valid business email addresses; personal references from friends or family are not accepted.
* Financial and administrative details: salary is aligned with national NHS Terms and Conditions; part-time salaries are pro-rata; consideration given to relevant experience when offers are made.
* Flexible working and redeployment considerations as applicable; staff on the Redeployment Register have priority access to vacancies at their substantive band.
