Job Description
We are seeking 2 Domestic Assistants to join our team.
You will be required to carry out a range of cleaning activities, follow specific mandatory cleaning schedules, and maintain records such as weekly work schedules and deep cleans.
Duties will include the use of powered cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners and floor cleaners to ensure premises are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. You will be required to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the establishment and follow infection control guidelines.
Work Patterns are as follows:
* Post 1: 30 hours per week - 5/7 day rota, including weekends - Permanent
* Post 2: 24 hours per week - 4/7 day rota, including weekends - Fixed Term to 31/1/26 (maternity cover)
Requirements
This post is considered a Regulated Role with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020, and membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.
Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
Responsibilities
The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975. Failure to disclose such convictions could result in dismissal or disciplinary action.
