Senior Regional Manager - Covering Scotland
OTE £95k pa (basic £75k + Bonus + Company Car)
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading automotive and insurance repair specialists, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping performance across a multi-site regional operation.
As Senior Regional Operations Manager, you will lead with both strategic clarity and operational excellence, driving accountability, performance, and consistency across multiple regions. Through your team of Regional and General Managers, you will embed a high-performance culture that delivers exceptional customer outcomes, strong financial results, and industry-leading repair standards.
This role goes beyond day-to-day operations you will act as a true business leader, owning regional performance end-to-end. From P&L accountability and operational efficiency, to people development, customer satisfaction, and commercial growth, you will be responsible for ensuring every site consistently delivers against both business targets and FMG Repair Services’ high standards.
Working closely with the Operations Director and wider leadership team, you will also contribute to broader business initiatives including growth, standardisation, and continuous improvement across the network.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
• Leading multi-site operational performance, ensuring consistent delivery of quality, safety, and compliance standards across all locations
• Owning regional P&L performance, driving revenue, margin, and cost control to deliver sustainable financial results
• Driving customer excellence through improved cycle times, key-to-key performance, vehicle off-road reduction, and overall customer satisfaction
• Building high-performing teams by coaching, developing, and holding General Managers and senior colleagues accountable for results
• Embedding effective workforce planning, ensuring the right people, skills, and structure are in place to meet operational demand
• Using data and performance insights to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and optimise productivity across the region
• Acting as a senior stakeholder across insurer, fleet, and internal relationships, ensuring strong partnerships and service delivery
• Championing FMG Repair Services as an employer and service provider of choice, supporting engagement, retention, and employer brand
We’re looking for a commercially astute, resilient leader who thrives in a multi-site environment and knows how to bring out the best in their people. You’ll be a strong relationship builder, able to influence at all levels and create alignment across a diverse regional operation.
You’ll bring proven experience in a senior operational leadership role, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on delivery. A background within automotive repair, fleet, or a related service-led environment would be advantageous; however, we welcome candidates from aligned sectors who can demonstrate transferable leadership and commercial expertise.
You’ll be confident operating at pace, making informed decisions, and leading through change, with a clear focus on delivering results through others.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will hold full accountability for multiple sites across Scotland, leading a team of General Managers and owning regional performance.
