What the Job Involves As a Health & Safety Adviser for the Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council, you will assist the Health & Safety Senior Officer in driving the health and safety strategy to ensure compliance across the Council and schools. Your responsibilities include conducting audits and reviews, supporting the implementation of health and safety strategies, and providing critical insights to management. Moreover, you will facilitate effective communication on health and safety matters, support incident investigations, liaise with enforcement authorities, and manage risk assessments. You will also assist in drafting frameworks, delivering training, and maintaining updated knowledge of legislation changes.
