About Our Client
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well known business in the local area (Edwinstowe) who have a nationwide presence. The company offers a supportive working environment and are looking for a Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team as soon as possible to support the Purchase Ledger team. This is a office based role based in Edwinstowe.
Job Description
3. Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate data entry into the ledger system.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
5. Prepare payment runs and ensure adherence to company policies.
6. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth month-end processes.
7. Maintain accurate records and support audit requirements.
8. Respond to supplier queries and build positive working relationships.
9. Assist with ad-hoc tasks within the accounting & finance department as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
10. Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
11. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
12. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
14. Knowledge of the financial services industry would be advantageous.
