As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will be responsible for visiting clients in their homes and assisting them with daily tasks to improve their quality of life. This is a door-to-door service role, meaning you will travel between clients’ homes throughout your working day.
Responsibilities
* Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Helping with mobility and encouraging exercises as required.
* Preparing and serving meals, as well as assisting with feeding when necessary.
* Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
* Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
* Helping with light household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
* Running errands, including shopping and collecting prescriptions.
* Keeping accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care role is preferred, but full training will be provided to the right candidates.
* A compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
* A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
* We do not sponsor visas, so candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
* An enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this process).

* This role does not include paid holidays or a pension scheme.
* The position involves travelling between clients’ homes, and mileage will not be reimbursed.
