The Legal Adviser role involves providing expert legal advice on regulatory, policy, and public law matters relating to the higher education sector.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Advising on legislation affecting higher education institutions.
* Handling legal issues related to data protection, human rights, and consumer protection.
* Managing litigation including judicial review and regulatory appeals.
* Providing legal guidance to internal teams and senior management.
* Commissioning external legal counsel.
* Drafting legal guidance and internal policy documents.
* Supporting regulatory investigations and enforcement actions.
Eligibility
* Qualified solicitor or barrister.
* Experience in regulatory law, public law, or litigation.
* Strong legal research and advisory skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
