Graeme Close is an innovative supported living service in the popular Fishponds area which opened in March 2024.
The newly refurbished development provides a structured and welcoming environment that is designed to give people with a learning disability and/or autism the space and support they need to build up the skills, confidence and independence needed to flourish and transition into a more permanent setting.

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
* To encourage positive self-image and maintain health and wellbeing.
* Assisting with decision-making and promoting independence.
* Support people to develop and maintain contact with family and friends.
* Provide access to the community, enabling the people we support to participate in sports clubs, social events and creative endeavours.
The successful Support Worker will:
* Have excellent communication skills
* Have a caring manner and a tolerant nature
* Being a driver is an essential requirement
* Be committed to delivering high quality care to the individuals
* Work well as part of a team but also independently
* To be able to work independently and as part of a team.
* To be pro-active and to use your own initiative to problem solve.
