Maintenance Technician - Mechanical Systems Specialist
At the forefront of hydrocarbon transport and storage, our team plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of mechanical systems across various onshore facilities. As a key member of our operations team, you will oversee maintenance and inspection procedures to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and contribute to achieving high plant availability targets.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct maintenance, testing, and adjustments on mechanical systems, including equipment covered by the Pressure System Safety Regulations (PSSR), to ensure process safety management is maintained at all times.
* Develop and implement procedures for recording completion of maintenance and inspections on plant and equipment at designated locations.
* Provide maintenance and inspection services to maintain 98% plant availability targets within COMAH Top Tier storage Terminals and pipeline systems.
* Complete fault finding on EC&I systems within competency limits, including 24/7 breakdown response.
Key Qualifications:
* A recognised professional qualification in a relevant mechanical discipline or equivalent standard of experience.
* Awareness of fundamental Health and Safety practices in the workplace.
* Experience of maintenance, root cause fault analysis, and ability to work under pressure.
