If you are a SEND (MLD) specialist who is available immediately or from January 2026, we would be keen to speak with you. If you are an experienced teaching assistant who has worked with pupils with SEND (MLD) across either primary or secondary phases this role may be for you. This teaching assistant job is initially offered as a temporary, full-time post based at an established, alternative provision school. You may also have the opportunity to apply for the permanent upcoming vacancies later in the year. Their children come from a wide range of backgrounds, but all have moderate learning difficulties (MLD) and some may have complex needs. This site is part of a national trust who are focussed on supporting children with complex behaviours and needs. Their pupils have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and they work closely with them to develop self-belief to become effective learners.
