Software Engineer I
We are seeking an entry-level Software Engineer I to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to software development projects within a specific functional area or product line. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
* Write and review portions of detailed specifications for system components of simple complexity.
* Complete basic bug fixes.
* Implement development processes, coding best practices, and participate in code reviews under the guidance of senior engineers.
* Collaborate with stakeholders in various development environments (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
* Resolve basic technical issues as needed.
* Stay updated on new technology developments.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
* Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
* Familiarity with data manipulation languages and data modeling principles.
* Understanding of data storage subsystems.
* Knowledge of development languages such as Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net.
* Awareness of test-driven development practices.
* Strong desire to learn new processes and technologies.
* Basic oral and written communication skills.
