Autotech Recruit is currently looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Mechanic to join one of our trusted automotive clients. Whether you’re looking for your next long-term position or a flexible contract, we have the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles.
2. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within set timeframes.
3. Conduct inspections and identify mechanical and electrical faults.
4. Support workshop operations and maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
5. Carry out MOT testing (if qualified).
Ideal Candidate:
6. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
7. At least 2 years’ experience working in a professional workshop environment.
8. MOT Tester certification (preferred but not essential).
9. Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
10. A full UK driving licence is required.
