Role: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Shifts: Monday to Friday – Days Only – Flexible Hours (40 hour week)
Location: Romford

The Company:
Our Client who are a well established family run manufacturing business that are currently going through a period of sustained growth due to investment that has gone into their machinery. With a number of new machines currently being installed and a new factory bought, all things are looking up for this business!
Being a family run business, they treat their staff incredibly well and this can be seen in the length of service of the Engineering team, with staff being onboard for over 30 years! Due to a forthcoming retiree, they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team and support the business with their growth plans.
The Role:
The Role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities:
* Looking after all the machinery on site including Fillers, Cappers, Mixers, Pipework, Pumps
* Working on reactive maintenance, creating solutions to problems that occur day to day
* Working on projects, installations and Continuous Improvements
* Ordering Spare Parts where required
* Working Mechanically with: Pumps, Pipework, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, Chains, Pulleys, Bearings, Rollers, Belts – typically swapping like for like
* Electrically completing Fault Finding safely and rectifying issues in Panels, with three phase motors
The Candidate;
The Right candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will be the following:
* Be confident working alone – a large part of this role will be lone working so applicants must be able to work confidently alone
* Be confident working Mechanically, fault finding and swapping out parts like for like
* Be happy working within a tightknit family run business
* Be a self starter and pro active, look for issues to solve before they become business critical and come up with ideas for improving the place
