Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in air conditioning systems, maintenance, and equipment repair. This role requires the ability to read and interpret schematics, as well as demonstrate leadership qualities in a construction environment. The Air Conditioning Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of air conditioning systems, contributing to the overall comfort and satisfaction of our clients.
Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in various settings.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
* Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units and perform necessary repairs.
* Interpret schematics and technical drawings to guide installation and repair processes.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure integrated system functionality.
* Lead small teams during installation or maintenance projects, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in air conditioning technology.
Qualifications
* Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in air conditioning systems.
* Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.
* Experience in equipment repair and maintenance within the HVAC field.
* Background in construction is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in HVAC or related fields are preferred.
