Two permanent full time job opportunities have arisen within NHS Highland – Argyll & Bute HSCP, based at Lorn & Islands Hospital, Oban. The posts are for an Engineering Fitter Maintenance Craftsperson and a Plumber Maintenance Craftsperson. Applicants should have an appropriate and relevant trades qualification with significant experience in a maintenance environment. Familiarity and use of computerised maintenance systems is desirable and a flexible approach to work is essential as is the willingness to work throughout Argyll & Bute HSCP. The successful candidate will be required to participate on an on-call rota for Lorn and Islands Hospital, which will normally be 1 week in 4. A full current driving licence is therefore essential. The post attracts an additional payment of retention and recruitment premia (RRP) of approx. £3,900 per annum (subject to regular review).
