Overview
New Producers Programme – a free 10‑week training course that introduces the craft of producing in a professional context. The course is delivered by China Plate and Newhampton Arts Centre and focuses on the practicalities of making, funding, distributing and promoting cultural projects.
Who is it for?
* People aged 18+ living or working in the Black Country (Wolverhampton, Sandwell, Dudley, Walsall).
* Individuals with some experience in the arts but no degree requirement.
* Those who can attend in‑person sessions at Newhampton Arts Centre.

* Project planning and budgeting
* Income generation and fundraising
* Marketing and social media
* Business management and inclusive practice

Eligibility Criteria
* Age 18 or over
* Lived or working in the Black Country (Wolverhampton, Sandwell, Dudley, Walsall)
* Some experience in an arts discipline (music, dance, theatre, visual arts, etc.)
* Ability to attend the 10 weekly in‑person sessions
Schedule
Sessions run for 10 weeks, starting with a full day Saturday followed by Thursday evenings from April to June 2025 at Newhampton Arts Centre.
