Kenton Black Finance is recruiting a part-time, permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk for a well-established business in Carlisle, operating for over 50 years. The role involves managing the purchase ledger from invoice processing to report reconciliation, supporting the finance team, and handling supplier communications. Working hours are flexible between 24 and 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
* Manage purchase ledger tasks including invoice processing and reconciliation.
* Process invoices accurately using Construct and Sage 200.
* Reconcile hold reports and address invoice queries promptly.
* Perform statement reconciliations and investigate anomalies.
* Monitor accounts email inbox and communicate with suppliers.
* Support finance team with various accounting tasks including vehicle and credit card reconciliations.
