Job Title: GCSE Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Tilbury Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Plan and deliver engaging and effective English, Maths, and Science lessons to GCSE students Provide individualised support to students to help them improve their understanding and grades Create a positive and supportive learning environment Monitor and assess student progress regularly Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE level English, Maths, and Science Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and engage students Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching or tutoring experience at the GCSE level Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of the English, Maths, and Science GCSE curriculum Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students Strong classroom management skills Proficient in using educational technology Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds Working Conditions: Part-time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in a learners home or local library Potential for remote tutoring sessions All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
