Overview
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Support Officer to join our school community. The successful candidate will work closely with students to support them with personal, social, developmental and behavioural challenges, helping them to identify their strengths and realise their full potential both inside and outside the classroom. In addition to this, the role will involve providing day-to-day support to the pastoral team, including undertaking administrative tasks as directed.

Qualifications
* Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 3, Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification, or an appropriate equivalent qualification or experience.
* Excellent numeracy, literacy and communication skills are essential.
* Minimum of two years’ experience of working with secondary-age students.
* We are looking for someone who is empathetic, organised and committed to supporting the wellbeing, development and achievement of young people.

* Weeks per Year: 39 weeks (Term time only)
* Grade/Range, Spinal Point: Grade 5, SCP 7-11
* FTE/Pro-rata salary: FTE: £22,791 - £24,841, Actual: £21,559 - £23,499
