Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced, dedicated, friendly and professional Teaching Assistant who can work effectively with children including those with special educational needs. You would be expected to deliver intervention provisions for a small number of children daily across the school, working alongside the class teacher.

* Salary: £12.81 - £13.00 per hour
* Hours: 8:30am - 3:15pm (+ ½ hour unpaid lunch)
* Contract: Fixed Term Until July 2026. Required as soon as possible

Responsibilities
* Have strong relationship-building skills and techniques
* Be passionate about helping children reach their potential despite challenges
* Be able to communicate clearly with children and adults, verbally and in writing
* Have experience of working with all ages of children in school
* Be able to support a range of abilities of pupils with SEND
* Be able to contribute to assessments
* Be able to adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
* Be confident in supporting good behaviour management skills and deploy a range of strategies
* Have a desire to participate in school and trust CPD opportunities
* Have a full understanding of Safeguarding

Qualifications
* Essential: Grade C / 4+ level Numeracy and Literacy
* Essential: Has a basic level of computer literacy
* Desirable: TA qualification or relevant experience
* Line manager: Academy Head
