About the Opportunity
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a mechanically biased Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Keighley. In this pivotal role, you will lead the delivery of projects, ensuring that every activity is engineered to specification, delivered safely, profitably, and to the utmost customer satisfaction.
This is a permanent position with NG Bailey, and the successful candidate will need to obtain security clearance once in post.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will:
* Champion our Safety First message throughout all project activities.
* Engage in pre-commencement activities to maximize opportunities, efficiency, and profitability.
* Review project scopes to ensure precise alignment with customer requirements.
* Identify project risks and opportunities, taking responsibility for mitigation and enhancement.
* Ensure engineering solutions meet financial and commercial objectives.
* Provide accurate and timely updates on site progress to the Project Manager and Commercial Lead.
* Manage subcontract resources as needed.
* Lead and inspire project team members to maximize performance and meet objectives.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
* Ensure project closure aligns with customer requirements, maximizing profitability.

To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Demonstrable experience in mechanical installations within a construction environment.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* An industry-recognized trade or professional mechanical qualification.
* Specific experience with high-value mechanical building service projects.
