Equans is looking for a Security Officer to join our team in University of West London, Brentford, TW8 9GA on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is an annual salary of £29,097.00 and benefits package. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday from 14:00-22:00 including 1 hour paid break What will you deliver? As the Security Officer you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the site, staff, visitors, and assets. This includes monitoring and controlling access, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures. The Security Officer plays a critical role in maintaining a secure and safe environment, preventing unauthorised access, and deterring criminal activities What can we offer you? Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Licence Proven experience in a security or related field First Aid Certification Knowledge of basic health and safety regulations Experience using security systems such as CCTV and access control equipment Clear criminal background check Customer service skills Physical ability to perform security duties Flexibility and availability for various shifts Conflict resolution skills Computer skills Training in security protocols and emergency response procedures Who are we?
