Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Ensure that all electrical works adhere to project specifications, design drawings, and international standards.
Perform inspections of electrical installations, including regular testing of electrical systems, ensuring that they meet safety and operational standards.
Review project documents such as method statements, inspection test plans, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Verify that all electrical work complies with local regulations, client standards, and contractual requirements collaborating with third-party inspectors when necessary.
Identify and document any issues or defects in electrical works in collaboration with the construction team and contractors to ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
Actively participate in safety inspections and promote a safe working environment ensuring all electrical works meet Health & Safety regulations.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, testing, and corrective actions providing regular QA/QC reports and summaries to project managers and senior stakeholders.
Work closely with contractors and electrical engineers to resolve quality issues, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to approved installation procedures.
Participate in the final commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring that all tests and inspections are successfully completed, and that the system is fully operational before handover.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3+ years of experience as an Electrical QA/QC Inspector within large scale construction/engineering.
Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards.
Experience with inspection tools, electrical testing equipment, and reporting software.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify defects, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to generate clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
