Overview
We\'re looking for a Streetworks Coordinator to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team for our Severn Trent contract.
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire or Hatton, Warwickshire
Hours: 40 Hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Responsibilities
* Support planning, coordinating, and monitoring street and highway work to ensure compliance with legislation and client requirements, minimize disruption to the public, and the overall delivery of the scheme.
* Support Kier management by consulting with the client and local authorities on all aspects of conflict/complaints resolution.
* Plan, liaise, and coordinate all aspects of highways defects.
* Understand the street works legislation relating to New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act 2004.
* Develop and maintain an understanding of Street Works compliance reports and implications from non-compliance.
* Adhere to tight deadlines and prioritise workload.
* Issue reports to the business to help avoid notice overruns.
* Process and monitor Traffic Management Applications.
What are we looking for?
* Knowledge of New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act 2004.
* Experience in Traffic Management applications, processed within set time scales set by the Highway Authority.
* Ability to work effectively with all levels of the business and external 3rd parties.
