You’ll provide expert guidance across the full spectrum of employee relations activity
* from managing complex, high‑risk cases to supporting employment tribunal preparation, organisational change, TUPE and policy development.
Your expertise will help leaders make informed, fair and legally sound decisions.
You’ll be central to embedding our Just and Restorative Learning Culture, fostering a workplace where colleagues feel supported, heard and empowered.
Through strong relationships with managers, staff networks, trade unions and other partners, you’ll use data and insight to influence outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
A key part of the role includes managing complex casework, developing high‑quality policies and creating practical tools aligned with evolving legislation, including the Employment Rights Bill.
You’ll also lead on case trends, risk identification and promoting psychologically safe, inclusive working environments.

As a People Relations and Culture Specialist, you will lead the delivery of high‑quality, legally compliant and values‑driven employee relations support.
You will act as a trusted expert on complex and sensitive ER matters, managing cases autonomously and ensuring fair, consistent and well‑evidenced outcomes.
Your work will shape how we support, engage and protect colleagues, strengthening a positive employment experience rooted in our Just and Restorative Learning Culture.
A core part of the role is developing, reviewing and implementing People policies that reflect best practice, evolving legislation and the expectations of an inclusive employer.
You will also play a central role in organisational change activity—including restructures, redundancy processes, TUPE and consultations—ensuring leaders are supported to make sound, lawful and compassionate decisions.
Using data, insights and strong judgement, you will identify risks, influence decision making and drive continuous improvement in how ER and people‑related change are managed.
Building trusted relationships across the organisation will be essential to enabling collaborative and constructive problem solving.
You will be joining our dynamic People Relations and Culture Team, a specialist function within the wider People Team.

We work collaboratively across the organisation
* alongside Business Partners, Staff Networks, Trade Unions, Occupational Health and other People Services teams
