The purpose of this role is to provide Managed Inventory Services to hospitals throughout the UK, including completing stock checks and delivering required stock to ward level.
Location: Southern, between Bournemouth and Brighton.
Working hours: Monday‑Friday 6:00 am to 4:00 pm with one rota day off per week.
Key Accountabilities
* Collate data on inventory levels within each ward on hospital sites.
* Check orders in full upon arrival and distribute accordingly to ward levels.
* Maintain high standards when delivering products – keep ward storage tidy, group products, remove or highlight expiries.
* Act as key point of contact for all customer queries on site and communicate information to back office.
* Manage all product expiry dates on site and record/distribute accordingly to resolve.
* Advise and refit wards with appropriate storage solutions to increase stock holding.
* Complete maintenance records for hire vehicles and report any faults.
* Contribute, collate and attend service reviews with customers.
* Audit pipeline accounts to advise service applicability and dimensions of storage solutions required.
* Complete BAXU training on time.
* Report any site issues.
* Sign all PODs in full on behalf of the customer.
* Recover all Baxter equipment to NDC, ensuring pallys are returned and shellys are used appropriately.

* Previous experience working in warehouse operations or a hospital environment.
* Experience using Microsoft packages.
* Track record of achieving operational KPIs.
* Experience of long‑distance driving.

* Working knowledge and application of lean principles.
* Basic understanding of CQC protocol within a hospital/clinical environment.
Job Requirements
* Flexibility around working patterns.
* Valid UK driving licence – must travel throughout the UK as a lone worker.
* Full DBS check to be completed.
* Fit for manual handling work.
