Avionic Fitter Location: Oxford Contract: 3 months (high chance of further extensions) Work Pattern: Mon - Fri / 08:00 - 17:00 / 40 hours per week. P ay Rate: £21.05 Per hour (PAYE) Overview: This role involves supporting aircraft installation and maintenance activities, ensuring safety, airworthiness, and compliance with engineering standards. You'll work closely with supervisors, engineers, and design teams to deliver high-quality avionic solutions. Key Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain avionic systems and electrical looms Interpret wiring diagrams and design data accurately Perform off-aircraft workshop tasks and assist with hangar operations Support aircraft movements and general housekeeping Ensure health & safety compliance and use of PPE Collaborate with design office and contribute to continuous improvement Requirements: Experience with helicopter systems and confined space work Skilled in soldering, crimping, and continuity testing Familiarity with specialist test equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented Comfortable with shift patterns (allowance payable) IT skills (Google Workspace, SAP, MS Office - desirable) Qualifications: Formal aviation apprenticeship or equivalent Valid driving license Please apply now and a Recruiter will contact you within 48 hours.
