Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacy Technician based in Edinburgh. The Pharmacy Technician will assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, manage inventory of pharmaceuticals, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include supporting the pharmacy team, maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the smooth running of daily pharmacy operations.
Qualifications
* Experience with Prescription processing and an understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance
* Proficiency in Pharmacy operations and familiarity with the role of Pharmacy Technicians
* Skills in Inventory Control to manage stock accurately and efficiently
* Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on patient care and communication
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in all tasks
* Relevant qualifications or certifications as a Pharmacy Technician are highly desirable
* Previous experience working in a community pharmacy setting is an advantage
