Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + excellent benefits
Contract: Permanent ¦ 36 hours per week ¦ Hybrid working options available

About The Role
As our Sponsorship Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of our industry events and exhibitions. You’ll identify new business opportunities, develop a pipeline of prospects, and convert interest into long-term partnerships. Working closely with the Industry Events & Exhibitions Manager, you’ll help shape a world-class events programme that connects thought leaders, innovators, and industry professionals.
What You’ll Do
* Deliver revenue growth across a diverse portfolio of industry events.
* Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads aligned to target sectors.
* Develop strong relationships with prospective clients and key accounts.
* Create bespoke proposals tailored to client needs and strategic goals.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional events.
* Manage the full client acquisition journey and maintain accurate CRM records.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
* Strong consultative and solution-based selling skills.
* Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
* Highly organised and confident managing multiple priorities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
Desirable: Experience in events, exhibitions, or B2B marketing within manufacturing, engineering, or technology sectors.
