The Work You’ll Do
Commercial Account Managers are responsible for working with existing clients and new clients to sell Sovos products, including negotiating and closing long-term contracts. You will manage the sales process from BRFC to close, collaborating with Sales, Legal and Finance to articulate the value propositions of Sovos products and services. You will handle contract negotiations, update sales force automation, and manage all aspects of the prospecting and sales renewals process.
More Specifically You Will
* Upsell and cross-sell Sovos solutions to customers in the existing client base
* Prospect within assigned territory to create leads and grow pipeline opportunities
* Sell and promote SaaS solutions to new accounts
* Develop and execute strategic opportunity plans to ensure quota attainment
* Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior with all stakeholders
* Take responsibility for internal and external client satisfaction
* Utilize multiple communication methods
* Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
* Plan and execute territory strategies
* Ask questions to understand needs and uncover opportunities
* Share best practices across the organization as a role model
* Be willing to learn from other roles, partners, and clients
What We Need From You
* Ability to navigate end-to-end sales cycles
* 1–3 years’ experience in a BDR or quota-carrying sales role; software solution sales preferred
* Knowledge of contact management solutions, preferably Salesforce.com
* Fluency in French or German
* Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
* Business travel may be required to attend client meetings and conferences
* Effective collaboration with teammates, colleagues, and customers
* Ability to comprehend and communicate complex concepts
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency with technology to fulfill work requirements and communicate effectively
* Proactive learner and seeker of new opportunities
* Understand product functionality from a Support perspective
