The School and Role
A welcoming school in South Tyneside is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work two days per week (Monday and Tuesday). The role includes covering PPA and delivering targeted interventions across EYFS and Key Stage 1. You will support teaching and learning, work closely with class teachers, and help maintain an inclusive environment. Experience of ‘Little Wandle’ phonics scheme is desirable, and being a team player with strong communication skills is essential.
Requirements
The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have;
1. Experience of working with primary school aged children.
2. Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
3. A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
4. An ability to work as part of a team.
