Qualified Social Worker – Westminster City Council (Joint Homelessness Team)
Intro: Are you a passionate and dedicated Social Worker with strong mental health experience? 3D Recruit is working with Westminster City Council to recruit into their Joint Homelessness Team (JHT), a specialist service supporting people who are homeless and rough sleeping across Westminster. This is a senior role with responsibility for leadership, clinical practice, and outreach.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise social work staff and oversee caseloads.
* Lead on social care delivery including Care Act eligibility, personal budgets, NRPF, and s117 aftercare.
* Act as a Safeguarding Adults Manager (SAM) and lead safeguarding investigations.
* Chair clinical and team meetings when required.
* Hold a small caseload and undertake complex clinical social work.
* Practise as an AMHP, maintaining approval and participating in the central rota.
* Undertake outreach assessments (street, hostels, day centres).
* Carry out Care Act assessments and referrals.
* Lead on hospital discharge planning and work with health colleagues to support long-term service users.
* Participate in the duty system and promote recovery/self-care with individuals, families, and carers.
Essential Requirements
* Recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
* Current or recent AMHP warranting (ESSENTIAL).
* In-depth knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, DoLS, and Children Act.
* Ability to assess and manage risk in high-pressure environments.
* Strong communication and partnership-building skills.
* Experience in performance management and achieving targets.
* Understanding of the links between mental and physical health.
