Job Title – Architectural Assistant

Job Purpose Summary- We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architectural Assistant to join our team on a part time basis. In this role, you will assist in the design and development of architectural projects. We welcome applications from individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the architectural field.
The ideal candidate will possess a foundation of knowledge in architectural principles and preferably have some experience in various design software, contributing to innovative solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities-
· Assisting with design work using a range of physical and digital tools
· Preparation of drawings, presentations and 3d models, experience using REVIT a strong benefit.
· Communicate and share knowledge among Design Team
· Develop, where required, representations of design options for further discussion by the design team.
· Assisting with preparation of materials and other communications for delivery to clients.
· Working as part of a team to achieve project deadlines and ensure that all work that leaves the office meets the quality standards of the practice.
Qualities and Skills Required-
· Fundamental understanding of the design process
· A-Levels Grade A-C
· Excellent design and drawing skills
· Work experience in an architectural practice would be preferable
· Advanced IT skills; experience using Revit is desirable, with knowledge of AutoDesk.
· Ability to formulate and present design intent.
· Good graphic skills
· Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Planning conditions.
