In this role you will define test facility solutions and specifications in accordance with standards. You will also define and manage test facility standards.
What you will be doing
As a key member of our engineering function, you’ll be responsible for:
* Acting as a point of contact within your engineering discipline, sharing subject matter expertise and providing advisory support across the team.
* Representing senior departmental staff and coaching others in areas where you hold technical authority.
* Managing defined technical packages and investigations, delivering against programme milestones within agreed cost, time, and quality parameters.
* Gathering and analysing data from engine testing activities to identify faults and root causes.
* Applying engineering judgement to interpret results and develop effective solutions.
* Leading the development and continuous improvement of tools, processes, and methods within the engine test facility.
* Influencing stakeholders and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to drive change and innovation.
Who we are looking for
Key Experiences and any Qualifications
* A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* Experience in a relevant domain (preferred but not essential).
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and fault diagnosis.
* A curious mindset and a drive to understand why things aren’t working—and how to fix them.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong organisational and project management abilities.
* A collaborative approach and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
