Applicants will come from a strong legionella compliance background and will ideally have experience working on cooling towers. For the right candidate the client can offer regional based work, with a good work life balance. Consideration will be given to candidates with good access to the M6 and M62 including; Bolton, Preston, Blackpool, Burnley, Rochdale, Bury, Huddersfield, Halifax, Bradford, Leeds, Keighley, Batley, Oldham, Manchester, Stockport, Wigan, St Helens, Liverpool, Widnes, Ellesmere Port, Northwich, Macclesfield, Crewe, Chester. Experience / Qualifications: - Demonstrable knowledge of legionella compliance. - Experience carrying out water hygiene / monitoring duties to ACoP L8 guidelines. - Ideally experience working on cooling towers. - Able to work on their own or as part of a team. - Full UK driving license. Duties will include but not limited to. - Temperature monitoring. - Legionella sampling. - Working on commercial and industrial sites on domestic hot and cold-water systems. - Showerhead descales. - Calorifiers flushing. - Cleans & Disinfections on storage tanks. - Cooling tower cleans and disinfections. - TMV inspection, testing and servicing. - CWST inspections. - Basic remedial works when required.
