This role is an exciting opportunity to join Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) as the Stroke Educator for NHS Fife, and be the difference between people just surviving and really living.
Responsibilities
* Develop, plan and deliver evidence‑based stroke education and training to support health and social care staff and informal carers.
* Ensure alignment with NHS Fife Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements, SSCA Standards of Care (SSCA 2023), National Stroke Improvement Plan (SG 2023) and Progressive Stroke Pathway (SG 2022) guidelines and standards.
* Take ownership of the development and roll‑out of a range of awareness, core and specialist stroke education and training, in partnership with regional Managed Clinical Networks (MCNs) and relevant clinical subgroups.
* Deliver some stroke education and training in partnership with other CHSS Stroke Educators.
* Provide a service in partnership with NHS Fife to ensure all individuals caring for people affected by stroke have the knowledge, skills, attitudes and confidence to fulfil their role and enhance the quality of services.
