This full-time, permanent position is available for an immediate start and offers a fantastic opportunity to join a successful Performing Arts and Media faculty. We are looking for a proactive individual who can provide meticulous technical support for assemblies, theatre productions, and daily classroom technology, ensuring the school's digital infrastructure remains at an outstanding quality. As an AV Technician, you will join a supportive leadership team and benefit from superb facilities, including a state-of-the-art theatre and recording suites. Responsibilities Manage and set up AV equipment for daily assemblies, parents' evenings, and school performances Provide technical support for the Drama and Media departments, including lighting and sound design Maintain and service the school's fleet of projectors, interactive screens, and PA systems Assist students and staff with filming and editing school events Manage the procurement of AV consumables and maintain an organised equipment loan system Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in AV support, lighting, or live sound engineering Proficiency in using digital mixing desks, stage lighting, and video editing software Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to Health & Safety (Working at Height) Must have the right to work in the UK Salary and Benefits Competitive Salary: £28,500 - £35,000 (Inner London) Full-time, permanent position with an immediate start Dedicated member of the SLT responsible for staff wellbeing Access to modern technology and a supportive working environment How to Apply If you’re a dedicated technician ready to join an outstanding school community, submit your CV now!
