Responsibilities
You will serve in custody suites in collaboration with the Police, delivering healthcare to detainees. The role includes ensuring the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in custody suites, in line with a schedule agreed upon with the client. Flexibility is required to work not only in your base custody suite but across an assigned region within Police Custody Suites and Force area.
Requirements
* RN, RGN or (RMN with dual registration): 2 years post-qualification – Band 5 minimum
* Paramedic: 2 years post-qualification
* Must have RTW in UK, Lived in UK British Passport or ILR for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months
* All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting
Salary, Shifts and Contracting
* Salary £20,500 per year
* £500 bonus when completed 12 months service
* Part time with fixed shifts: 06:45 to 19:00 for day shifts and 18:45 to 07:00 for night shifts, team rota pattern of 2-day shifts on, 8 days off, 2 nights, 4 days off. Rolling rota available 2 years in advance
* Contractual patterns with customer; part-time or Bank contracts may be available, but full shifts are required and part-time employees may still work Night shifts
* Average estimated overtime £3,500 per annum
* NMC/HCPC Registration paid
