The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring the technology environment of the hotel operates flawlessly, securely and in line with service expectations. This role is critical to guest satisfaction, operational excellence and business continuity supporting both front of house and back of house systems. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with business goals Ownership of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms and Business Systems Ownership of IT security, ensuring full knowledge of data, network and system security controls and measures, managing risk at all times Ownership of IT resilience, reliability and efficiency Ownership of 3rd party service providers to IT, managing contractual arrangements, commercials and shared responsibility model Management of IT budget, ensuring costs are controlled and spend is predicted as far as possible, maximising the return on investment in all areas to drive system utilisation Drive business efficiency through systems integration and automation Maximise the use of data within the business to drive analytics and reporting for key stakeholders Act as a Project Manager for all projects that involve IT, ensuring timelines and deadlines are exceeded Provide regular reporting to the business on IT projects, initiatives and risks Maintain and optimise network topology and infrastructure in collaboration with external IT support partners Ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements such as Cyber Essentials, GDPR and PCI-DSS Manage vulnerability patching, endpoint protection, access controls and incident response Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans Deliver continuous improvement for IT operations and how the IT team supports the organisation Hotel Operations & Guest Experience Ensure 24/7 availability of all critical hotel systems including PMS, POS, guest Wi-Fi, telephony, IPTV, key systems and mobile apps Maintain exceptional guest connectivity standards (Wi-Fi performance, bandwidth, security, VIP handling) Support guest services including VIP preferences, in-room technology, digital concierge and event systems Ensure the IT Team provide rapid, discreet resolution of guest-impacting IT issue Leadership & Stakeholder Management Partner with Heads of Department to understand operational challenges and improve efficiency through technology Train hotel teams on systems and digital tools to maximise adoption and value Contribute to hotel leadership meetings as the technology subject matter expert Key Skills, Qualities & Experience Proven experience in IT leadership or management roles Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and compute hardware/software systems Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cyber security and enterprise systems Ideally a strong understanding of hotel systems (PMS, POS, guest networks, AV, telephony) Strong experience in systems integration, automation and dashboarding Project management expertise Excellent vendor negotiation and contract management skills Strong analytical and problem solving abilities Strong communication skills Benefits We offer a wide range of benefits and have excellent opportunities for career development and provide exceptional training programmes for all employees: Tips typically over 200 per month ( 2,400 per year) Complimentary bespoke uniform and chef whites Complimentary meals whilst on duty Refer a Friend bonus - Earn up to 1000 Holiday Buy/Sell Scheme Complimentary employee car parking Complimentary state of the art onsite gym - with personal trainer support 31 days annual leave (including bank holidays) increasing with service Professional development opportunities at all levels Reimbursement on work shoes, sight tests and professional memberships Modern and spacious discounted live in accommodation for eligible roles Access to hundreds of exclusive employee benefits, rewards and discounts targeted specifically at the hospitality sector.
